Tourist Exploration: Farms in Singapore

Have been staying mostly in Sunny Singapore, so let me introduce areas which is a to-go for those who love to explore

Farms in Singapore. Yes you heard it right.

Made our way on our bicycles to Lim chu kang for the farms -

There are 2 ways to get to these farms
Option 1 (Effective 1 Dec 2014):
From Kranji MRT station, take the Kranji Countryside Express Bus to the places you wish to visit in Kranji and are participating in the service (pay by EZ Link or cash). Click here to view the Kranji Countryside Express Bus operating schedule

Option 2:
From opposite of Choa Chu Kang MRT station, take public bus service 975 (from bus stop number 44531)

#1 Bollywood veggies - we had the honor of having uncle Bollywood veggies to bring us around the garden and explanation of the vegetation

Bollywood Veggies:
100 Neo Tiew Road,
Singapore 719026 (Kranji)
OPEN ON
Wed to Fri :
from 9
.30am to 6.30pm

Sat, Sun & Public Holidays :
from 8am to 6.30pm

Before we left we filled our stomach
The veggie platter seems the best.
The guys said the nasi lemak was good - but my idea is come to veggie garden and eat something with no veggies?
Our soup of the day was just a few pieces of carrots with radish soup.
And for the jackfruit salad it's acquired taste. A little curry powder in it so its a little spicy to me.

A good place to chill though :)

#2 jurong frog farm
Lim Chu Kang Lane 6 Singapore 718864
*Note: Only Sat,Sun, PH is open to Public from 9am to 5.30pm.
Other days appointment is needed

Arriving there, firstly i had to kiss a frog to find my Prince Charming haha
(ermm.. you know I'm kidding right)

Kidding...
It's great that they have ambassadors/ workers of the frog farm standing there to explain any questions that we had. Great information.

And also the tadpoles
I felt bad because while walking through the farm all I could think of was 田鸡粥 frog porridge.

And of course while we were there, the vain guys took to the hasima and bought many bowls to beautify their skin.

I find it quite sadistic to eat frog leg meat beside the alive frogs though. Hahaha

No. 3 Lim Chu Kang, Agrotech Park Lane 4, Singapore 718859

Farm Operating Hours (for farm visits by public):
9am to 4pm (Mon, Wed to Sun, including Public Holidays)
Farm is closed on every Tues (except Public Holidays)

I was in india for a year and drank india version of goat milk which is pure and hence a little sour - and I was not used to it. But surprisingly the one here is sweetened which tastes just like normal milk.

An educational and eye opener trip. Good to bring children along too :)

Family bonding - trick eye museum in Singapore - for all ages -

Whenever my cousin from Australia visit, I always wonder where else to bring him. Since he comes to Singapore so often. I am glad that now I have somewhere other than universal studio.

Trickeye Museum at RWS.

Trick Eye is short for ‘Trick of the eye’, which refers to an art technique that turns two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional images through the use of optical illusions. With that, 2D paintings on the museum walls, floors and ceilings appear to pop out of the surface and come to life. Step inside the paintings to complete a visual narrative with your creative poses, and watch a “tricky” story unfold before your camera.

I'm a lover of 3D art and for Trick Eye at RWS, its great that its spacious so children and adults can explore each art together! Many thanks to RWS for having us.

* Only thing to be improved on is probably fans for the people waiting in the queue or use the system like our eateries. Let people go and explore the rest of the area then when its 10 minutes to their turn to return back.

Most important thing to do!
For those who are more shy to ask others to take a picture for you, you can also loan a selfie stick for free at the entrance. YES! FREE!

Where everyone of all ages (yes even babies) can be part of this illusions.

Where guys can live their dreams for once (haha) caught in action by wife.

In the arms of a handsome 'man'

Yes. Live their dreams and show their hidden desires.

Where girlfriends for once can tower over their boyfriends.

where children can live their dreams. Free willy.

For everyone to explore adventures one would not dare to (if not for this)

Where magic is in the air (with the person)

And for 'sadistic ' people who showcases their ermmm.. i don't know. haha.

And children who " I don't know"

where one can compete in the Olympics for once!

Where we are reminded to be thankful for being in Singapore, safe from disasters.

where one can return to the child in them - just like those in the stories.

Could be a great place for couple shots :)

Once again, thank you RWS Trick Eye Museum for having us. We had lots of fun!
